if you live in fear, life will pass you by

The day is born on the other side as you watch from afar.
It’s beautiful the blue in the sky but it’s scary to go outside.
You don’t quite know why but every time you try, something pulls you back.
As if the danger lived in stepping out of what is familiar.
So, behind the curtain you remain as life passes by.
The night arrives reminding you of one more day that fear took away.
Stolen aspirations now wander in the starry sky.
Once again, from the corner of your eye, you see them getting out of your sight.
But until when are you willing to hide and let them fly?
